My magnum opus before I was any good at making. This box, which kickstarted my making, was made as a gift. Inspired by real (really made, not real vampires) vampire boxes made during the Victorian era after the publication of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Made from a drawer of the side of the road, lined with felt, featuring a poorly fitted lid made from two parts of another drawer, featuring brass fittings, a couch-leather strap, with an (accidentally) upside down cross.
Contents include: A self made mallet for hammering in stakes; A pair of aforementioned stakes; A set of rosary beads; Anglican; An Anglican Bible, vintage from the 1920s, with  page notes for bible verses relevant to vampire hunting; Bottles of Eucharist (Breadcrumbs and salt take the place), Holy Water and Vampire (paper) ash, on the other side a bottle of powdered garlic; A Crucifix adorns the centre of the lid; a crude drawing of a vampire and a wolf; Finally a mirror, made from an old car mirror cut into shape and put inside a vintage metal frame.
